Twitter survey

Though I can't stand twitter, I find it useful for my own needs.  I keep an eye on a few companies to catch deals through it.  So basically, it's a virtual coupon book for me. 

What do you use twitter for? 

Do you read others' tweets, or primarily send them?

Does it validate your need for social activity?

Is it a community?
